This mining settlement with several houses was founded on the Czech-Bavarian border at the beginning of the 16th century, when a small deposit of iron ore was found near the Špičák mountain saddle. Its first inhabitants were Germans and in the years 1579 to 1613 it even belonged to Bavaria. Ore was mined here with hundred year intervals till 1934…
