The best place to enter this trail is the village of Ovesná with a train stop and parking. The first part leads on a steep slope of the Perník Hill up to its top (1048 m), than it crosses the settlement of Jelení vrchy and continues along the Schwarzenberg canal and past lonely boulders to the railway station Černý Kříž.
