Fascinating Mariánské Lázně

The spa town at the southern slope of the Slavkovský les Forest has a short but fascinating history. Its vertiginously quick rise and its generous building two hundred years ago fascinated all, including J. W. Goethe who regularly visited Western Bohemia.
